Abstract Awards

The ACNM is pleased to offer several abstract awards:

  • The Tapan K. Chaudhuri Award
  • The ALASBIMN "Clincal Oncology PET" presented by a MD of a country member of the (Latino-American-Society of Biology and Nuclear Medicine: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela.
  • Younis-Bashir Award for the best presentation from Pakistan (oral or poster) at the ACNM Annual Meeting
  • Ralph Blumhardt Award
  • Ursula Mary Kocemba-Slosky, PhD, Awards for the Best ACNM Nuclear Medicine Research Abstracts.
  • ACNM Annual Meeting Best Abstract Awards

To apply for the above grants, you MUST submit an abstract to the ACNM Annual Meeting. You will be prompted to select which of the awards you would like to apply for during the abstract submission process.

The Ralph Blumhardt, Ursula Mary Kocemba-Slosky, PhD, and ACNM Annual Meeting Best Abstract awards have been provided by a grant from the Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (ERF).

Call for Abstracts

Thank you for your interest in submitting an original clinical or scientific abstract for the chance to present your research at the 2024 ACNM Annual Meeting, February 1-3, 2024 in Orlando, FL. The meeting will offer a combination of oral and poster presentations for accepted abstracts.

Clinical and scientific abstracts are being accepted on the following topics:

  • Aspects of Clinical and Basic Science in Nuclear Medicine
  • Correlative Imaging in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
  • Methodology, including Computer Programming or Physics
  • Nuclear Pharmacy and Physics
  • Nuclear Cardiology
  • Theranostics
  • Quality and Safety in Nuclear Medicine

 

Important Dates

  • Abstract system opens: August 31, 2023
  • Abstract submission deadline: October 10, 2023
  • Notifications: November 14, 2023

Abstract Submission Processing Fee

There will be a $30 (USD) non-refundable processing fee for each abstract submitted for the 2023 ACNM Annual Meeting. The processing fee will be submitted online by credit card (ONLY) at the time of submission, and is not based on the acceptance of your abstract, or associated with any applicable registration fees you may incur.
